Selling my beloved 3.7i pair. Im in Mount Laurel NJ 08054 .Bought these brand new direct from Magnepan, from Wendell, in early 2022 and have loved owning them. They have under 100 hours on them, theyre mint, I have the boxes. Pay half the price of new for a like new pair. Mine are very special in one way. When I got them, I was pushing them hard. I spoke with Mick, who had me send them back to the shop to be re-hooked. Normally the panels are hooked at 21ish volts - the guys at the factory hooked mine out to 25 volts. Magnepan 3.7i Speakers With Custom Mye Stands - Immaculate Time to thin down my speaker collection, and am offering for sale an absolutely stunning, mint condition pair of Magnepan 3.7i planar speakers. These are the best speakers I’ve owned in my life. They are, literally, perfect. Not just cosmetically and functionally, but there’s nothing more I could desire from listening. In fact, after I bought these, I lamented that I had not purchased these decades earlier, so I could have had so many more year of listening enjoyment. With these speakers, a listening evening at home provided the same “experience payoff” of a night out on the town, meaning – my lovely companion and I would later discuss the evening spent listening the same way we would have to have gone to a concert or a meal at a 3-star restaurant. It made the evening so memorable, we’d reference it a full week later, and still comment about remarkable things we noticed during a particular song or passage. These speakers really are this good, and they have a wide-enough sound stage spread so there is not a single-chair listening “hot spot,” there was more than enough soundstage for two on the sofa. Close your eyes and you had a wall of sound, with instruments imaged so delicately and cleanly that you swear you’re in the studio, or in a live venue. Honestly, I have never heard anything like these. Why am I selling them? I am moving, and while I have a room acoustically perfect for these speakers, I am going to temporarily move in with an elderly relative, who has Alzheimer’s, to help her for a while.
