Rare Vintage Magnavox FD1040 CD Player, Manufactured in Belgium, September 1985. Very clean unit. This unit powers on, the drawer opens but does not automatically close all the way. The drawer must be pushed closed the final 3/4. I could not get it to read/play a CD (I can hear the laser transport? attempting to move inside). All push button controls and corresponding digital lights work. Might be an easy fix for someone who can repair these. This unit is heavy and built like a tank.

Cosmetics are good, as seen the photos. 2nd digit of LED not displaying properly. Working fine, as seen in the video. However, this is a 40 year old piece of vintage electronics.
