For sale is rare Proceed MRC-100 CD Player made by Madrigal laboratories in good working condition.Madrigal audio laboratories,inc. was designing audio gears for famous Marc Levinson.This player is excellent example of build quality and parts selection. Build around CDM 1 MKII CD transport and dual PCM58P DAC, player have exceptional sound quality.Unit have some imperfections and signs of use. Please check the pictures for details.Freshly serviced and tested for functionality and performance by professional technician.Player did receive new tray belt. All mechanical parts were cleaned and re greased for the smooth operation. Laser was cleaned and measured for power output.All capacitors were tested. Few weak capacitors were replaced, particular on the laser control board.All necessary checks and adjustments were done according to the service manual.Player was tested with industry standard Phillips SBC playability test CD (SBC 444 A) (not included for sale) and pass through all test tracks with no skipping or any audible distortion in sound, so laser and electronics can be considered in good shape. CD payer read and play all recorded media.Players comes with generic, but 100% functional and new remote control. Also will work with any Phillips, Naim, Arcam, Meridian CD remotes.Player was tested for over 30 hours after maintenance and have no issues.Item will be shipped with transport screws installed and well packed for the safe shipping. I am the second owner of this unit and used for couple of years without any functional problem. There are some scratches as you see from the pictures. Comes with power cord.

Proceed CDP By Madrigal CDPlayer W Proceed PDP Digital Processor. This was a Mark Levinson design. When the player was working it delivered superb cd quality sound and was a true audiophile dream product . Spacious sound with crystal clear sonic attributes and deep outstanding bass notes. The drawer opens and closes but I can’t get it to play cds ! The Digital Processor is fully functional so I’m selling it as set. Hopefully there is someone out there with enough electronic acumen to get this beast of a cd player to function again !!
