Description
TacT Lyngdorf Millennium MK2 Digital Amplifier in Mint Condition The first, and still the best, digital amplifier ever made. Search Google for stacks of reviews. Incredible build and sound quality - 150w a channel. Four digital inputs (2 x BNC, 1 x RCA Coaxial and 1 x AES/EBU)The DAC section accepts signals upto 48khz so is fine for CD Transports, Tidal, Spotify or CDs ripped to FLAC.I have used it with an Auralic Aries streamer - see other auction. Comes with lovely metal remote for volume up/down, mute and standby. The LCD display on the remote is too faint to read now (it is over twenty years old!) but it works perfectly. Also includes original owners manual, original promotional bumph with early reviews and trade show reports and a copy of Hi-Fi Choice from 1999 with the World Premier on it. Probably the best example anywhere - should be in a museum. I will also include an excellent MusicWorks ReVive Mains Lead I have been using with it. This cost £5k in 2000 and the last MK4 version was around £14k when they discontinued it in 2011. Lyngdorf still offer full service and support for the amp and you can have the DAC section upgraded to the last MK4 version - which then makes this what they call a MK3 (The MK4 had some additional changes that arent retrofittable). The unit is extremely large and heavy (30kg) and there is no way I can box it up for safe shipping so this is strictly collection only from NN6 8EH.
