Luxman PD-121 direct drive turntable with SME tonearm mount. Cosmetics are fair to good, with some scratches visible. The front left dustcover has cracks that can be seen in pictures. Operates properly on 33.3 rpm. I observe the 45 speed does not lock in at a steady 45 RPM and tends to drift a bit. Price reflects shortcomings. This was my primary daily use turntable until recently. Shipping only to USA lower 48. I may elect to ship the dustcover separately, with any additional expense assumed by me.

For sale a Luxman PD-264 direct drive turntable in very good condition. Turntable works properly and keeps speed well, no issues. Comes with working AKG cartridge. Description: The PD264 is a disc player using a Brushless DC Servo Motor Direct-Drive system. Provided is a turntable platter of high inertia with which the large mass of platter weight is distributed around the outer contour, thus realizing excellent Wow & Flutter characteristics and stable rotation. For the tonearm, a straight type is adopted to eliminate resonance caused by lack of solidity which tends to be found on the tonearm exclusively designed for high-compliance type cartridges. The root portion of the tonearm is of double-pipe structure to strengthen anti-resonance measures. The knife-edge structure is employed for the pivot receptacle, thus realizing quite stable operation. Further, the cartridge shell is integrated to the tonearm, and the resonance is suppressed down to the minimum. The most salient feature of the PD264 is the Auto Lift-Up Function. When disc playback is finished, the tonearm is automatically lifted up, and rotation of turntable ceases at the same time. This function prevents unnecessary tracing of the cartridge at the end of disc-playback. LEDs are employed for stroboscope light, thus realizing a clear strobo pattern since the power supply is waveform rectified. LUXMAN PD 121 U with Fidelity Research FR54 Tonearm (with original phono cable) and Denon DL110 high output moving coil cartridge. The PD121 used the same motor as the Technics SP10 MKI. Its very stable. See the pic I took of the stability reading from my iPhone. This turntable is from Japan. I used it with a 100v to 120v transformer. The transformer is included in the sale. Look at the size of the platter. Its a heavyweight. That one reason the speed is so stable. Speed adjusts for 33 and 45 under front of plinth. I love the FR54 arm. This is in very good condition, with a few small nicks near the arm rest. Its flexible, but generally on the heavier side. The Denon DL110 is a classic. Very low hours. Its high output, so you can use with any MM phono input. New and beautiful dustcover. The table is beautiful. I always accept returns.
