Description
From the Premium Japanese LUXMAN Company - The R-114 Ultimate Power Stereo Receiver The R-113, the entry level model in Luxmans Ultimate Power line of receivers, includes a high-speed dynamic amplifier that delivers up to 100 dynamic watts into a 2 ohms load. And a high-efficiency toroidal power transformer is coupled with high-energy storage capacitors to provide the dynamics and steady state reserves necessary for the most demanding music transients. The R-113 employs voltage amplification circuitry that ensures the tube-like, musical warmth of traditional Luxman amplifiers. In addition, CD Straight circuitry routes CD input signals directly past all signal processor and switching functions for optimum accuracy, imaging and impact.Complementing this performance are an array of advanced features that lend versatility and precise control over a wide range of functions. This 1993 gem has several very nice features which make it a desirable vintage 2-channel item.Functions include AM and FM as expected, plus a two full Tape circuits (In and Out with monitoring), a dedicated Signal Processor circuit (In and Out) for an equalizer, noise reduction, etc. Then there are L/R inputs for CD and two for Video. Antenna connections are provided for FM 75 and 300 ohm and an AM loop.Rear panel is rounded out with A and B speaker connections and four 120v outlets, 2 switched, 2 un-switched.The front panel has 20 presets for AM and FM stations, Bass/Treble/Balance, six input selectors, a Loudness switch and a CD Straight selector which bypasses all circuits except volume to playback the CD as the recording engineer created it.Includes a printed Users Manual and AM wire antenna.
