Luxman R-113 AM/FM Stereo Receiver Very nice entry level model receiver in the Hi-end Audio line of Luxman corporation from the late 1980s - early 1990s. Retailed for $400 in 1987 (which is equivalent to $1,100 today) Unit Works %100 as it should. Very good 7/10 physical condition. Minor scratches from use. No original box or manual included. Very well made simple receiver with a stellar phono stage. This unit never came with a remote. Feels and looks like quality when you operate the unit. Utilizes a Toroidal transformer, which is usually found in much more expensive audio components. Pre-amp output and signal processor loop. Also very easy to service as the bottom panel removes with 5 screws (most entry level units do not have easy access removable panels - saves a lot of time when servicing the unit) I restore/sell vintage Audio. I looked over the unit on the circuit board level for failing components, cracked solder joints, and anything out of the ordinary - none found. Also tested several capacitors and everything is in excellent condition. All controls were cleaned thoroughly with deoxit. Unit cleaned inside and out.
