Mfg is Swisstone Electronics, a business acquisition to continue the manufacture of the speaker line (history and nature of it is on the web) without altering design and quality. Cabinet dimensions: 18 x 8-3/16 x 8-13/16. Driver dimensions: 7-3/16 woofer; 4 tweeter and 1-3/4 port. One unit has a woofer defect. As seen in the photos the dust cap over the voice coil is missing. Also the cone (white-opaque portion) and the surround are no longer bonded by the adhesive. The other unit is good. I bought these 2nd hand years ago and tested the speakers prior to removing the grill and finding the adhesive problem. I used a decent quality power (Carvin) and pre amplifier (Phillips). Source was a CD. I listened at mid and high volume. I did not hear any cone rattling or distortion. Since the surround has not deteriorated and the cone is good you may be able to repair it. The cabinet finish is good overall. There are small scratches and discolorations as seen in the photos. Slight damage on one corner (photo). Another corner has a small bit of damage near it. As seen, unfortunately the former owner installed rubber bumpers on one side of each unit. One has 4 intact, the other has two. Some bumpers slipped aside what I assume is an adhesive pad. Theres no grill defects. This is a heavy shipment but will be well packed for a safe trip.

Verkauft wird hier ein Stereo Set SYMO LS5 -SX TRANSCONDUCTANCE WIRE HIGH END LAUTSPRECHERKABEL. Es handelt sich ursprünglich um einen 3 Meter Langen Stereo Satz. Ein Kabel hat noch die 3 Meter Länge und an beiden Enden verlötete Kabelschuhe. Das 2 te Kabel wurde leider halbiert und besteht jetzt aus 2 Teilen die jeweils 1,5 Meter Lang sind. Jeweils an einem Ende offen und am anderen Kabelschuhe verlötet. Ich denke am sinnvollsten wäre die beiden kurzen wieder zu verbinden, so das man wieder 2x3 Meter hätte…. aber das kann jeder machen wie er will. Auch ein weiterer Satz mit je 1,5 Meter kann so konfektioniert werden wenn man möchte.
