Vintage Lloyd's AM/FM Stereo Receiver 8-Track & Cassette Model R858 Turns On!. This is an amazing piece of history. I remember having one of these as a kid. This system is a record player, a eight track player and cassette player. It has a plastic lid that lifts off the top when you want to play records or cassettes there is a crack in the plastic please see photos on that, the cassette turns on and turns I am unable to test the record player and the eight track, but the AM/FM radio picks up signal but I could not hear it because I do not have speakers to attach it to. Vintage Lloyds Model V-150 Portable AM/FM Radio and 8-Track Player - Works!This is a bit of an improvement over the V-128, with the added radio and updated track switching mechanism. I opened this up and lubed the capstan and motor then ran for a couple hours. Radio works - I couldnt pull in any AM stations but FM was fine. The control panel lettering is mostly worn off. One switch is for AM/FM and the other is for Tone: High/Low. The knobs are Tape/Off/Radio, Volume, and Tuning.Measures 8 inches wide by 9 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep and weighs 4.5 pounds. Plays all tracks but doesnt automatically switch tracks - not sure if it is supposed to, though the later V-150 does. Not a big deal as you can push the button to advance to the next track.
