I’m sad to be selling my Linn Karma because it sounds amazing when it’s fully functional, but it needs a re-tip after a cross-country move. The cantilever appears to be intact, thankfully. I have been involved in turntable set up and use for 50 years. I have a plethora of vintage phono cartridges that I will be posting on eBay. The cantilever is slightly askew I do not know the hours on the stylus assume it is bad not usable and will need replacing. The coils measure good at .414 ohms for left channel and .412 ohms on right channel multimeter set at 2K range. Cosmetically this is super clean with no detriment. Linn K18 II Phono Cartridge used but only for around 200 hours following an upgrade. Plays fine and the sound quality is everything you would expect from Linn. As its a moving magnet design the stylus is replaceable and it looks like spares are still available for this great model. I bought this cartridge new sometime in the mid-1990s. It was working and sounding fine up until I replaced it in March 2024. I dont know exactly how many hours are on it, but I would be amazed if there are 500 hours on it. Very limited use. My dealer thought it was working fine but did not want to take it in on trade due to its age. He removed it from the arm it was originally installed on and packaged it as shown in the pictures. Original box and packing included. When I bought it, it was Linns top spec cartridge made for them by Lyra Analog in Japan. I enjoyed owning it but replaced it with an Ekstatik model costing $7245.00. Is the Ekstatik better? Yes, but not as much as you would expect. Any questions, just ask.
