Just bought from an estate of an audiophile. If you’re looking at this then you know what it is. One of the finest tone arms ever designed. Comes on the original board and has original cord. The original Karma Cartridge is included but the stylus is bad. I’m not totally sure but I believe it would require a rebuild. There’s some marring on the aluminum mount otherwise in pretty clean condition. I only gave it a light wipe down with a shop towel. I tested the leads with a multi meter for continuity so I know there are no shorts. I don’t know what else needs checking so please ask about any concerns. This is being sold as is for parts. Cheers! Perfect working condition. Played LP records and sounds great. This unit is from the original owner since 1984. (See, Warranty card dated Feb. 8, 1984.) Cabinet is free from imperfection, all original components including a lid. Excellent cosmetic condition. Packing will be carefully done to prevent a damage on the Suspension mechanism during the transit. Its a perfect working condition but will be sold as is, no return due to the age of the unit. Serial number 31969 I purchased this second hand from an auction house solely for the tonearm, but acquired a LINN KRANE tonearm instead, so decided not to keep the SONDEK. It had a scuff on the front of the plinth, which I’ve sanded and re-varnished. The deck works fine and plays great. Just needs a bit of a clean and polish. Please review the images prior to bidding. This TT had recapped Valhalla Power Supply which keeps 33.3 speed pretty well. I don’t have a single 45 rpm record in my collection so I never bothered to install two speed power supply. Original bearing with plastic white liner was upgraded to a new Cirkus bearing. Original cardboard baseboard was upgraded to new aluminum Trampoline 2. Linn Ittok LV II was rewired and serviced by Paul Bird of HiFi Galery (https://thehifigallery.co.uk/) who used Cardas AWG33 and new super high quality bearings. My personal and very unorthodox addition to the table is winged nuts under the springs which makes the armboard adjustment so much easier. No wrench needed. Original lock nuts can be returned to their places if buyer wishes so. New high quality black tonearm cable was provided by HiFi Gallery. Tonearm equipped with Hana SL - one of the best MC carts under $1000. It is gently used and has a long life ahead. Original price is $750.Turntable can be sold for lower price without the cartridge. This table is fully operational and new owner can use it as is or keep upgrading it as he/she wishes without paying crazy amount of money for the new Linn TT which is getting costlier and costlier. For sale is a used, one of the best turntable systems: Linn LP-12 Sondek Turntable with Ittok LVII Tonearm, Cirkus Bearing, Lingo PSU, Trampolin baseboard The turntable works great (PSU is 120V for US/Canada market). Original Linn cable with RCA connector from the tonearm. The cartridge is a Linn Adikt but the stylus is bent. Otherwise, this is an excellent system to deliver high-quality music. The Trampolin baseboard has its front two footings replaced by metal spiks on metal discs. The total height is maintained the same with the other, original footing (see the last picture). Check out the video that shows the turntable in operation. Good physical condition with some wear and scratches due to use. The dustcover is crack-free, although it has the typical scratches on plastic. Sale includes the turntable and components shown in pictures only; no box, manual, or any other accessories.
