Linn Exotik Preamp. Not working, no idea what the issue is. I have never tried to get it fixed. I have included a couple of internal pics, probably doesn’t help though. I bought this as non working to use as spare parts for my working Exotik but never had to use it. Now I have sold and upgraded from my Exotik this is now for sale. Hopefully someone will find a use for it or fix it. It is in good condition generally, quite clean. No original box but can be packed for courier. Any questions please ask There is no power lead or remote with this.

Linn Exotik Dynamik preamp in excellent condition and original box. The Exotik was renamed Akurate Kontrol and is the best analogue preamp Linn ever made bar the Klimax Kontrol. At this price it’s a bargain. Multichannel as well as stereo line inputs. This one has the Dynamik power supply upgrade that makes a substantial difference. I’m having a clear out as I acquired too much lot kit during lockdown! Any questions please ask.

It will work, with limited functionality - volume, source are OK with an Akurate Kontrol - I know because it came with the one I bought on eBay, which I’ve now replaced, hence this sale. If you have an Akurate Kontrol and an old LK remote control then you’ll get an idea of what this one can do with newer kit like the AK. Ideally though you are reading this because you want a remote for a Unidisk, Kisto, Kinos or Exotik - which this remote was designed for. The battery compartment is clean and free of any sign of battery leakage. I’ve shown images of that also. So, beyond the scuffs on the back and a few marks here and there it’s pretty clean for its age.
