The Lexicon LX-5 power amplifier is a 5-channel amplifier delivering 200 watts to each of the 5 channels. I purchased the amp brand new in 2002. It has never required any service and is in very good condition. Includes rack mount ears. Lexicon built this with a very heavy-duty power supply including a large toroidal transformer. A ground lift switch reduces audible hum caused by multiple grounding paths. This amplifier has heavy-duty, gold-plated loudspeaker binding posts, single-ended RCA, 1/4-inch TRS, and balanced XLR inputs. I changed to a 7-channel amplifier after adding two additional channels to my surround system.
