Der G111 MK II wurde im November 22 bei der cma audio GmbH erworben, und kommt in der OVP inkl. der Bedienungsanleitung. Der komplette Lieferumfang ist den Bildern zu entnehmen. Doch was macht ihn so besonders? Zum einen arbeitet er intern mit der vergleichsweise hohen Spannung von 60 Volt, wodurch er auch bei hochohmigen Kopfhörern nicht schlappmacht. So kann das Signal a priori abgeschwächt werden, um den Lautstärkeregler effektiver zu nutzen, oder verstärkt werden, um auch pegelhungrigen Kopfhörern Paroli zu bieten. Für ein „angenehmes Regelgefühl“ kommt im Lake People G100 das gut beleumundete Potenziometer RK 27 von Alps zum Einsatz. Eine überdimensionierte Stromversorgung mit Ringkerntrafo stellt auch unter schwierigen Bedindungen Leistungsreserven für eine klare und verzerrungsfreie Darstellung zur Verfügung. Der Frequenzgang deckt 5 Hz bis 60 kHz linear ab (bei 0,5 dB Toleranz). Mittels zweier 6,3-mm-Klinkenanschlüsse können mit dem Lake People G100 zwei Kopfhörer gleichzeitig betrieben werden. Eingangsseitig stehen vergoldete XLR-Buchsen für symmetrischen Input oder ebenfalls vergoldete unsymmetrische Cinch-Anschlüsse zur Verfügung.
