JBL L 16 Decade Herrlich klingende Regalbox des amerikanischen Kultherstellers JBL. Sie ist vom Sound her besser als die ähnliche drei-Wege-Box JBL L26. Ein trockener Bass gepaart mit einem sanftem Hochtöner, die richtige Mischung für so ziemlich jeden Musikstil. Die L 16 Decade ist die Home-Version der Monitor Box JBL Model 4301b. Dieser Lautsprecher entstammt der frühen Control Monitor Serie von JBL. Das Klangbild ist linear und analytisch, Das massive Gehäuse macht sich sehr positiv im Bassbereich bemerkbar. Der Tieftontreiber im Aluchassis sorgt in Zusammenarbeit mit dem perfekt abgestimmten Bass-Reflex für einen wunderbaren, tiefen und satten Bassbereich. Der Mittel-Hochtonbereich bildet ein sehr plastisches Klangbild. An dieser Box empfiehlt sich eine Verstärkerleistung von 50-80 Watt. Sie klingt optimal in Räumen bis 25 Quadratmetern. It features 6 individually driven 50W channels for a total of 300W. High, mid and low each are on different amp channels; just that it has individual channels should tell you this is a bit different quality than the average stereo, where you commonly wire a speaker and all of its components to a single channel. Those channels is what you want in a studio monitor. Harmonic distortion is <0.1% at FULL POWER! When you want to crank it, you will not get distortion, it will sound just as good at full power as it does when you want it quiet. Digital signal to noise ratio is 98db! The clarity is remarkable.The finish is walnut, and it is in excellent condition. I love this thing, and so I took good care of it.
