Kyoceras T-910 features a highly sensitive FM front end with advanced circuitry that offers low distortion, high signal-to-noise ratio and high interference rejection.Interference is further reduced by the T-910s selectable IF bandwidth (WIDE/NARROW) and ceramic filters in the FM IF section. Modulation distortion is decreased, so clear, interference-free reception is guaranteed even in crowded band areas.As the finishing touch to an already well-designed tuner, Kyoceras T-910 employs Fine Ceramics, material ideally suited to audio component applications due to its outstanding chemical properties. A new material called Ceramic Compund Resin (CCR) is used to construct the solid chassis for the T-910s base, eliminating vibration caused by acoustic feedback and other external sources. CCR prevents semi-conductor devices, capacitors and other vital chassis parts from picking up unwanted vibration.As a result, the performance of each circuit and component is left unaffected by vibration or resonance.Despite all the sophistication embodied in Kyoceras T-910, the tuner is one of the easiest of all to use, featuring presets for 8 FM and 8 AM stations, and both auto and manual tuning modes. The T-910 is rare among tuners in that it combines accurate reception, high fidelity sound reproduction and ease of use.The T-910s CCR base chassis-rigid, solid and inert construction prevents vibrationKyocera has brought resonance-free performance to the T-910 with material called Ceramic Compound Resin (CCR).The CCR base effectively damps acoustic feedback, vibration and other forms of shock coming from outside sources. Because semiconductors, capacitors and the components that comprise the delicate input stage are protected from vibration, they are immune to the microphonic effect.As a result, modulation of the signal by vibration is dramatically reduced. From Kyoceras combined electronics and materials expertise comes a tuner design with outstanding clarity and flat response.Highly sensitive FM front end with low distortion, high signal-to-noise ratio and high interference rejectionThe front end is the heart of any tuner, so Kyoceras T-910 uses only the most carefully selected components in the FM section. This ensures that the T-910 will not only have excellent specifications; it will sound right as well. Its RF stage features high sensitivity equal to that of a 5-ganged tuning capacitor, as well as high selectivity, image response ratio and spurious response ratio.A performance this good means that nearby powerful stations will not interfere with the reception of any tuned station. In addition, a precision twin-varicap tuning diode and a linear-amplitude MOS-FET in the RF amp make the tuner resistant to saturation distortion caused by overpowering stations.Simply put, FM reception of the T-910 tuner is always clear, always clean, always interference-free.Selectable IF bandwidth (WIDE/NARROW) and ceramic filters in FM IF sectionThe FM IF section of the T-910 uses a series of high quality ceramic filters to assure high selectivity as well as low group delay. These filters are also effective in suppressing modulation distortion, ensuring linear amplification of IF signals.The IF bandwidth is selectable by a switch between WIDE and NARROW.The WIDE position makes low-distortion reception possible in situations where interference from alternate or adjacent stations is negligible.The NARROW position, on the other hand, reduces interference, thereby assuring clear reception in areas where the tuning band is crowded with a number of competing stations.Quadrature detector for FM features low distortion and very high signal-to-noise ratioThe signal from the front end is amplified by the IF stage, limited in amplitude by the limiter, and then detected by the detector where frequency modulation is converted into amplitude modulation. In this critical circuit, Kyocera employs a quadrature detector, known for its high stability regardless of varying temperatures and humidity factors.The quad rature detector in the T-910 was designed to achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio, low distortion, wide dynamic range, and flat frequency response.Stereo multiplex decoder: wide channel separation and low distortionEvery tuners stereo multiplex decoder has the important function of decoding a composite output from the detector and separating it into left and right channel information. In the T-910 Kyocera uses an elaborate chopper type that achieves both wide channel separation (60dB at 1Khz) and low distortion through the use of negative feedback.A pilot signal, contained in the composite signal, is automatically eliminated through the use of a built-in pilot canceller, while birdie noise created by interference is rejected by an anti-birdie filter. All that remains is the original broadcast signal content for the finest sound quality.Presets for 8 FM and 8 AM stations, plus programmable antenna positionsThrough the use of a large-memory microcomputer, the Kyocera T-910 does more than offer 16 presets for stations (8 each for FM and AM) ; it also permits the user to program either antenna (A or B) and the desired IF bandwidth (WIDE or NARROW) for 8 FM presets.Each time an FM station in memory is recalled, it is not only automatically tuned-the antenna is set in position for the best possible reception with the least noise and distortion, and with a minimum of interference !The T-910s built-in computer also shows the tuning status of a station on a convenient, comprehensive display. Frequencies and other information in the memory are retained by a lithium battery, so that they will not be erased in the event of a power failure or when the tuner remains unplugged for a long time.Two tuning modes : auto for adjacent stations, manual for weak-signal stationsThe auto tuning mode of the T-910 automatically tunes the next receivable station in the tuning band at the mere touch of a tuning (UP or DOWN) button.The manual mode lets the user search for a station in 100Khz (FM) or 1Khz (AM) steps by pressing the same tuning button-a useful feature for locating a weak-signal station.High speed scanning of the band can be done with one sustained push.Two FM antenna connections for minimum interference and multipath distortionThe Kyocera T-910 is capable of accepting two FM antennas, A and B.A switch enables the user to choose whichever antenna offers the least interference and the best multipath rejection for the desired station. When a station is being preset either of the two antennas can be programmed simultaneously for the best reception. In this way optimum reception of each preset station is assured.Dual-purpose signal strength meter also serves as a multipath indicatorThe T-910s signal strength/multipath meter makes antenna orientation easier than ever.Set to indicate multipath, the meter shows the degree of muItipath reflections coming from nearby high-rises or mountains. Biete aus meiner Bastelkiste einen superraren CD Player von Kyocera DA-910 teilweise zerlegt. Leider, leider nur zum ausschlachten. Er hat vor dem zerlegen perfekt funktioniert. Zustand der Teile sehr gut, Elektronik alles Perfekt, beinahe Neuwertig. Eine DAC Platine mit zwei seltenen Signetics TDA1540 auch dabei. Verkauft wie gesehen, an Bastler, keine Garantie. !!Wenn ich noch was interessantes finde, lege ich mit dabei ohne Aufpreis!! Nichtraucher und Tierfrei Abholung oder Versand
