This unit has been sitting in my studio for many years and I haven’t used it for a long time. It works fine. When it starts, it seems to have a super slight humming background sound which goes away as the unit warms up. I’m not sure if that comes from the amplifier or from the speakers. I had paired with Martin Logan electrostatic speakers and the sound is exceptional. The item is extremely heavy so local pick up only unless the buyer makes their own shipping arrangements.
