Excellent condition Krell KRC-2 preamp and line-stage with original working remote and manual. Second owner selling, it has worked flawlessly and remains fully operational as shown in the video which can be seen at youtube.com/watch?v=Thk90iShHFQ. The included original remote is a bit finicky with angle but otherwise works perfectly as can be seen in the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndpdnAtY_-s . Please note that the Tape, Gain, Phase and Mute buttons are sensitive and must be pressed lightly or they will quickly toggle back to their previous state. After a few attempts youll get the hang of it. This is not a defect, it is merely how the preamp has been throughout ownership. The original manual is also included for your reference.Please note, the KRC-2 DOES NOT include a phono stage or phono preamp although any preamp with unbalanced or balanced XLR line-level outputs may be connected should you so choose. Also; the preamp DOES NOT feature a power switch. It always remains on, and should be muted when not in use. One review had this to say about the KRC-2:The KRC-2 was so neutral and well-balanced overall that my listening notes were not extensive, there being little untoward for a listener to latch onto. The KRC-2 was very compatible with the KSA-200S or KSA-100S amplifiers, in all areas: absolute merit, transparency, tonal neutrality, and extension and control of the frequency extremes. Remote control of absolute polarity proved to be a boon. Time and time again, corrections for unknown recording practices gave a slightly richer, fuller sound, with improved soundstage perspective.As I found in my HFN/RR review of the KRC (footnote 3), the KRC-2 sounded both more open and musical set to its higher gain (hence lower feedback) setting. (This is also true of some other high-performance preamplifiers; for example, the Audio Research LS-5.)
