However, it will need to be repaired. Another switch will need to be fastened or some other means of connection will be needed to be made. This is a DIY type project. If you are looking for one of these little monsters, this is the one you want. It was sent to Krell in June of 23, and has had all capacitors replaced. It has been cleaned, tested and verified as meeting original specifications. There was a recall on some of these for a potential overheating problem. That recall has also been done. This unit is as close as you can come to new. Beautiful cosmetic condition and now ready for another 12 to 15 years of trouble-free service. Don’t be fooled by the others listed. Their capacitors are long past designed service life, and need to be replaced. I have done the upgrades and paid the freight. This amp has plenty of power, and is very detailed. Krell KAV250a was recapped in 2018 by Krell and this amp is in excellent condition and sounds great. Also includes Harmonic Technology Pro-AC 11 CL-3 single crystal copper power cable, 1 meter long. Included in the box are printed manual, articles, and receipt from recapping.
