On Feb-23-24 at 11:22:59 PST, seller added the following information: A cartridge repair guy contacted me and said “the suspension and coil may be damaged. He estimated that it would cost between $500 if it just needs a new boron cantilever or could cost more than $1200 if he has to take it apart and repair the coil. Make sure to do your due diligence. Get some estimates, maybe you find a better deal maybe you don’t. Remember this is an as-is sale. I’m not a cartridge repair man, I’m not qualified to diagnose or estimate cost.

Hallo zusammen, zum Verkauf steht ein seltener Koetsu SA-1100D Tonarm.Der Arm ist gebraucht und hat geringe Gebrauchsspuren. Der Vorbesitzer hatte versucht, die Silicon Dämpferflüssigkeit zu entfernen und hat dabei das Lagerspiel verstellt. Der Arm wurde von mir teilweise zerlegt, die Reste des ausgehärteten Öls entfernt und das Horizontal-Lager wieder eingestellt, spielfrei aber ohne Verspannung. Der Koetsu ist Höhenverstellbar, das ist mittels Druckfeder im Armsockel organisiert, eine eher unübliche Konstruktion, die aber Fantastisch funktioniert.Zuletzt hatte ich den Tonarm auf einem Transrotor Rotary montiert und mit einem Audio Technica AT 33 MC System ausgestattet. Der Arm ließ sich gut ausbalancieren und spielte trotz nicht vorhandener Antiscating Einrichtung auf einem beachtlichen Niveau. Über Antiscating Einrichtungen wird ja kontrovers Diskutiert. Ab einer Auflagekraft über 2 Gramm ist diese entbehrlich (meine persönliche Erfahrung)Die Daten zum Arm habe ich von Vinyl-Engine. Der Ausdruck wird mitgeliefert. Er ist auch auf dem letzten Foto gezeigt. Zustand: wie ober beschrieben, technisch in zuverlässigem Zustand. Das Gerät hat nur minimale Spuren des Gebrauchs (Schulnote 2-).
