Mint condition pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers - Walnut Oiled wood. Both speakers have the toe ups attached and include stands to get them up higher, if desired. These are not quite matching serial numbers - they are 3 numbers apart. Sound: These sound extremely detailed yet smooth at the same time. Look: The grills are clean and intact and the walnut finish looks really nice. One of the tops of the speakers is just a little lighter than the rest of the sides and the finish other speaker.

Klipsch Heresy 1 speakers with Walnut finish. Sequential serial numbers. Speakers are nearly perfect. Sold new in 1976, I believe they were produced in 1975, which is consistent with the PWK badges. There is one dent in the top of one speaker maybe slightly smaller than a pencil eraser. Other than that they are pretty much flawless. I purchased these from the original owner. Everything is original in the speakers. All paperwork is included. These were placed about 10 feet off floor level in drywall alcoves for the last 30 years. There is a little drywall on the risers that could easily be sanded or scraped off. These will ship insured in individual boxes. Speakers will be encapsulated in foam and double boxes for shipment

Based on my research these were made in 1981. Condition is used. Purchased from a living estate sale, I have used these in a second system for about three years and they have been played on a consistent basis with no problems. I am selling only because space is an issue and I need to downsize a bit. These sound great and look great. The cabinets were dry and in rough shape, I sanded them, filled in some corners and spots, re-painted the front, and re-finished them. They present very well, however, the filler does not match and there are some nicks here and there, a carpenter I am not! I think they look great and the cosmetic issues only add to the speakers character. Of course, they could be re-done to your liking. FULL DISCLOSURE - per the original owner, one of the woofers was damaged and replaced by Klipsch with a later ‘80’s woofer. So, one has an original K-22-R woofer and one has a K-22-K woofer. You can go online and research the info, the K-22-K was used by Klipsch in mid 80’s production of the Heresy speakers. In what I found online, sonically and specification, they are the same. They do look slightly different from the front as can be seen in the images. Just calling this out - they sound great and unless you have the ears of a dog, you probably would not know had I not disclosed this. These were made when the bottom risers were optional, these do not include risers and there are no holes on the bottom indicating they did not come with risers when new. If you do want to add them, you can get really nice real wood risers for a very fair price from Crites. The grills are original, very nice shape, clean, snag free, however, they are missing the Kilpsch badges. Really nice set of Klipsch Heresy speakers. If I had more room, believe me, I’d be keeping them. Due to the size and weight this is a local pick up only. Please view all images as these are the exact speakers you will receive.
