I compared these speakers with the Klangfilm KL42006, and the sound is absolute similar. These Siemens speakers have even little better low frequency range as the KL42006 because the centring - phenolic suspension is installed in form a spider under the paper cone (membrane), and in this case the hub of the membrane is bigger as in the KL42006. The diameter of the basket is exactly 30 cm / 12.The DC resistance of the both voice coil is about 11,3 Ohm, and the impedance is 15 Ohm. The field coil DC resistance is about 950 Ohm. The voice coils move absolutely free on the core without any troubles. They need a supplying voltage about 90 - 110 V each. The crossovers have multi impedances input: 15 ?, 200 ?, 400 Ohm and 800 ? - please check for comparing photos of the input terminals. The standard Klangfilm Eurodyn crossovers were prepared for one input impedance only - for 15 ? or 200 ?, therefore many users had to use additional match transformers. These Eurodyn systems, with special crossovers from Klangfilm Austria are applicable for all amplifiers, independently of the output impedance.Each speaker system Kl.L442 consists of a 15 /38 cm Klangfilm bass speakers type Kl.L406 and high frequency compression driver type Kl.L303. I checked exactly the paper cones of the both bass speakers and the diaphragms in the both compression drivers.
