I am offering for sale a very rare pair of highly sought Klangfilm cinema amplifiers of the type KL 32622/KL32623, which are equipped with two power triodes RE604 (see circuit diagram). It is also possible to use the triodes KL72406 (AD1 with 4-pin socket) instead of the RE604. With the tubes RE604, the amplifiers have an output power of approx. 6-8 watts. With the tubes 72406 (AD1 with 4-pin socket), these amplifiers have an output power of approx. 10-12 watts. The PX4 triode can also be used on place of the RE604, but the bias voltage must be reduced to -52 V). With the triodes PX4, these amplifiers have an output power of approx. 12-14 watts. The output impedance is 15 ohms, regardless of the type of power stage tubes used. Each amplifier is originally prepared to supplying of a field coil speaker type KL 42006. On the front panel is an original 4-pin connector, specifically for connecting to an original Klangfilm speaker box with a KL42006 field coil speaker. In this case no external power supply is required for the field coil speaker!! ( I have in my storage one piece of the original speaker box equipped with speaker KL42006, included original 4-wires cable and original 4-pin plug connector. After the auction ends I can negotiate about a deal for this speaker) The KL32622 and KL 32623 amplifiers have identical electrical circuits - please see the original circuit diagram in the photo gallery. The differences are only optical - for example: different input plug connectors, and some parts inside have optical differences, but all parts have the same technical parameters. I have carefully checked all transformers and resistors. All transformers and resistors are in very good condition considering their age. I have also performed a functional test of these two amplifiers. For this functional test I have (only temporarily) replaced the weak capacitors with new capacitors (the old capacitors are left inside on the chassis). The input tubes (pentodes) were connected in a triode system (the input tube RENS1294 can be replaced by the REN904 triode) because the amplifiers were in original shape adapted to work with film projectors, and I had these amplifiers adapted for reproduction of sound from audio sources. These amplifiers work well without problems, but due to their age (over 85 years) they need an overhauling. I will also install identical input plug connectors type RCA in each amplifier. I am supplying these two amplifiers with a complete set of original tubes, as shown in the photos. All tubes have been tested and they are in 100% working condition.I am offering these two amplifiers in working condition, with the new capacitors temporarily installed, but to be in a perfect condition, these amplifiers need a restoration and overhaul. At an express request of the buyer who wins this auction, I can overhaul these two amplifiers. This overhaul costs extra and must be agreed separately after the auction has ended and the auction price has been paid. As part of an overhaul, I can replace the defective parts and I can match these two amplifiers perfectly for stereo listening, and also improve the frequency range with a small modification, which I have previously done on other amplifiers of the same type (check the schematic diagrams for possible modification) .
