From the estate of an audiophile. I connected speakers and a bluetooth receiver and both channels work fine functionally. I cannot attest to it meeting specifications. I powered this item up slowly using a VARIAC. Its VERY HEAVY.

Great amp for pennies on the dollar. It is in perfect working condition. I no longer need it as Im downsizing my home and entertainment system. 140watts x2 @ 8ohms doubling to 280watts x2 @ 4 ohms

Parts or repair This amplifier was in storage for years. It powers on. However, the DC offset in both channels is very high. I have not attempted to repair it. This amplifier should not be used as is and is being sold for parts or repair only with no returns. Shipping in the lower 48 only. Payment due within 3 days of purchase.

marks on the body from wet cleaning. when turned on, the green button and display turn on, but then nothing happens, I can’t say that it doesn’t work

This is a device that is connected to a magnetic tape recorder (either a cassette or reel-to-reel type) and improves the sound by removing residual distortion caused by the magnetic field being generated by the playback head. The building and collapsing magnetic fields that are generated cause a slight error to be produced; this is called hysteresis distortion and results in a subtle softening of transients. The Kinergetics company became well know for using reverse distortion generators (in this case a replica magnetic playback head incorporated in a feedback loop) to eliminate this distortion via cancellation. There are no adjustments needed simply connect the right and left outputs of any tape recorder to the corresponding right and left inputs and the KMP 2s outputs are connected to your audio playback system. This unit is a superb example, functions correctly and has no scratches or mars, the external transformer provides the correct output AC voltage and should be used with 115 VAC, 60Hz and consumes 200mA.
