Khozmo passive preamp, 48 step SERIES attenuator with remote, RCA inputs/outputs, separate power supply. 1 year old passive preamp, works perfectly. It has a very clear, transparent sound. All my other components ended up being black, so I’ve replaced this one with a black version. These are very high quality passive preamps. This version is $624 on the Khozmo website.

Verkaufe hier meinen Khozmo Acoustic Preamplifier. Es ist ein passiver Vorverstärker in Dual Mono. Für jeden Kanal gibt es ein 64-Schritte(Ladder)-Poti welches mit AMRT-Widerständen aufgebaut ist. Das Gerät hat einen RCA- Eingang und zwei RCA-Ausgänge für zB noch einen Sub mitzusteuern. Es gibt auch eine massive Fernbedienung (Remote Relay) dazu. Damit können beide Kanäle gleichzeitig oder auch separat gesteuert werden. Die Punktmatrix zeigt jeden Kanal einzeln an. Ich verkaufe ihn, da ich aktiv mit einer Röhrenvorstufe höre und er zu schade ist zum verstauben. Das Gerät ist technisch und optisch in einem sehr guten Zustand. KHOZMO 48 Step Attenuator, 3 channel passive Preamplifier.. Hardly used over the two years or so since new. I have two and the black one gets used. This one still feels sharp. Heavyweight and current spec though, these tend to be custom made. I dont remember which brand of resistor was used or if silver wire was used though I suspect so. This is conventionally wired / RCA ie not intended for a balanced system. The little socket at rear is a 4 pin aviation type to supply low coltage dc to a remote control and not connected. For the avoidance of doubt neither Attenuator nor channel selector are remotely controlled nor is there any sensor.
