These are 2 C2 preamps. The notorious balance pots have been taken apart and somewhat repaired, but are not 100% reliable. Thats why theyre sold as PARTS/REPAIR UNITS. As of now they are working and passing signal on both channels. But not guaranteed. They will also need the controls cleaned. Cosmetically theyre definitely nice. No major blemishes at all. I could not check speaker output since I didnt have the right equipment to do so. This was shipped to a customer and we discovered that the right channel output was not working. this Kenwood C2 control amp comes from my personal stereo that I have owned for years Vintage 1980's Kenwood ~ Model Basic C2 ~ Stereo Control Amplifier. This control amplifier works excellent with the exception that the balance knob has been professionally removed and bypassed with resistors. The original balance knob and resistor is included to aid in finding a replacement. This is a very common problem with the c2 control amp. shipping to the lower 48 states only and I am not excepting returns on this item, but check my feedback and bid with confidence.
