Someone had been an electronics tech for the Merchant Marine in Norfolk and was going to open a retail and repair shop when they passed away. Their inventory was sold at auction by wonderful and honest people who however dont know a resistor from a Mexican jumping bean. This may be the heaviest piece of audio equipment I have ever sold or owned and I may have to include a surcharge for back pills. The top was unscrewed so it was being serviced or restored, that is plain, what it needed I have no way to know. I have not plugged it in and do not intend to. I see just a few working units of this model available various places and they are six bills and upwards so it ought to be worth someones time to put this in working order, something I doubt would require too much. I would hope not but again I dont have any way to diagnose it, so we are selling it As Is for parts or repair. Note that on the back on one end there is an open section and I dont know what that is for or what went inside, but whatever it was I dont have it. It is rather heavy but the two services are in half of a price war so shipping might not be so bad as it used to be.
