Vintage Kenwood KR-4400 Am-Fm Stereo Tuner Amplifier (Free shipping). Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground. Plugged speakers in and works. When i turned the volume, i coukd hear static in speakers but stopped once i quit turning volume knob. Signal light flickered off and i tap the top and it comes back on I only tested radio and worked so. Smoke free home

Nice Kenwood KR-4400 receiver. Fully tested: here’s what’s going on. Powers up but relay wouldn’t kick in. Removed top and bottom cover and did full deox cleaning, still no relay click. Then I tapped on relay cover and it kicked in, repeated, several times. Ran the unit three times for a few hours each time. Sounded wonderful, not scratchy and lots of rich warm power. Then I drilled a tiny hole in relay cover by the edge and squirted a bit of deoxit into the relay. Let it sit for a day the tried to power up and lights up but no relay click. Tapped again and now nothing. So with all that said it’s being sold as is for repair. Includes original manual and schematics Otherwise a beautiful unit that just needs a relay. Unit will be carefully packed to ensure a safe arrival.

TRIO KR-4400 Stereo Receiver/CD Amplifier - Japan - Kenwood. Lights up and plays on Aux. No other inputs tried. Signal strength meter moves on AM when tuning. Not tried on FM. Sold for parts not working. No returns. Good external condition overall. Some damage to wooden side panels and aluminium fascia on the front edge and on the bottom by the tuning knob. Inside looks in good condition just a bit dusty (see photos) Comes with user manual. I bought it to refurbish, but have too many projects on the go.
