Kenwood KD-5100 Direct Drive Automatic Turntable acquired from the family of the original owner. Unfortunately, this turntable stopped working. At first it worked fine and then the controls stopped performing their intended functions. Turntable still spins but the various switches are not responding. As far as cosmetics, the turntable is complete with 45 adapter, owners manual, etc. Dust cover has a few marks and the usual brush marks but No cracks or chips. It even still has the small rubber bumpers at each corner. The hinges hold the cover up as they should. There are some small marks on the bright areas but nothing one would notice without close inspection. There is an Audio Technica cartridge and stylus complete with needle cover. Thats the story with this quality direct drive turntable. Needs service but in very nice complete cosmetic condition. Please view the auction photos. What you see is Exactly what you get. Kenwood KD-5100 Quartz Direct Drive Turntable.This turntable works fine as a manual turntable.Has 33 and 45 speeds,which are quartz locked and display shows when speed is locked.The electronic cueing works fine.Tonearm is working fine and includes headshell.I could have installed a cheap cartridge but thought this turntable deserved better,so didnt add a cartridge.Cosmetics are good except for dust cover,with piece missing and top scratch.Shipping is $40.
