However, none of the illumination came on, and there was no audio coming through the unit. We tried to go through each Input, but were unable to tell if there was audio going through. For all these reasons we are selling this unit in the AS-IS/Parts Repair condition. Since this item is being sold AS-IS, this item should be considered to have defects, and we have done our best to disclose them. In the case of an item that doesnt function as intended, there is a chance that other flaws, that we are not aware of, may be present. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. Used, but still in good condition. TESTED, and in perfect working order. Does not include manual, or original packaging. NO REMOTE OR OTHER ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED. Unit shows some wear and scratches, but overall is in good cosmetic condition. (SEE PICTURES). The knobs are both present, with the power button being the only button known to function as it is supposed to. As we do not repair electronics, nor have we attempted any repairs. Kenwood KC-993 Stereo Control Amplifier No Remote Powers On For PARTS or REPAIR The amplifier is in good physical condition with some scratches and marks on the housing. The unit powers on and appears to hear audio input as I can see the digital meter moving with music. However, there is no sound coming from the unit. The relay switch can be heard on power up, but there is absolutely nothing coming from the speakers, not even a electronic hum or hiss from signal noise. The unit is being sold as-is for repairs or parts as it will not function fully without work. There is no remote for the unit. See pictures for details.
