I got a solid sound through my speakers, both Speakers A & B and left and right. Connecting my home theater receiver to this units Tape Out, the CD player audio (Aux in) was passed through this AMP without interruption, even with power off, as it should be. It sounded fine on my AV receiver. See the unusual inputs on this amp! It has Phono 1 and Phono 2. Phono 2 is for todays modern magnetic cartridges. Phono 1 has a rotary knob that lets you select signal sensitivity for various other cartridge types. SEE that downloadable manual for details. ALSO included is an input accepting output from a tape play head; bypassing the tape players signal processing.
