This is a simple and massive 70s Trio pre-main amplifier with no levers and only a large dial and buttons for operation. We connected a record player to the PHONO terminal on the rear panel, a CD player to the TUNER and TAPE1 terminals, and a DAP to the MIC terminal on the front panel to check the speaker output and headphone output. The operation of the volume, balance, tone control, loudness, and each input selector switch has been checked. There is no noise or buzzing in any part of the unit. The appearance is generally beautiful considering the fact that it is over 40 years old. As shown in the model number, it is a pre-main amplifier of the so-called popular price range, but Trio led the golden age of audio in the 70s, and this sound pressure overwhelms other makers in a popular model. In addition, the phono equalizer is MM, but I think it has a high sound quality beyond its class, which is unique to the 70s when vinyl records were in their heyday. It seems to bring out the analog-like aspects of each instrument more realistically than the latest digital amplifiers. There is a MIC input terminal on the front panel, so it is very convenient to use this as AUX and attach a DAP or other device.
