Mittelton wurden von KEF die Kombi B139 und B110 verwendet, als Hoch- und Superhochton Celestion C1300 und C2000. Bis heute ein sensationelles Klangbild, typische englische Abstimmung mit tiefreichendem Bass. Abnehmbare Frontbespannung. Maße 117 x 50 x 44 cm. Das Gehäuse in Eiche Echtholzfurnier, auch hinter der Bespannung. Der Neupreis der Originalen lag damals bei ca. 12.400 DM. Aus Platzmangel löse ich meine Sammlung auf und denke der Käufer wird noch viel Freude mit diesen gepflegten Boxen haben. Sie erwerben natürlich ein PAAR :-)) Aus Mangel an Verpackung ist nur eine Selbstabholung in der Nähe von Salzburg möglich. Die Boxen können nach Vereinbarung auch gerne probegehört werden.

Transmission Line Speakers With KEFKit Drivers. Housed in a custom Bailey transmission line enclosure, the drivers are from the KEFKIT3 that was available from 1969-78, I have seen paperwork to suggest they have updated Concerto KK3 crossovers, but I’ve not dismantled them to confirm this. These sound fantastic, and were made by my father in the 70s. I also have a box containing enough oak veneer to change the look of the speakers that can be included if required.

Kef B110 based IMF style Transmission Line Speakers Coles 4001 Audax. See pictures very old kit or home built speakers. Taken on as a project but now don’t have time to complete. Floor standers 3 ft tall. B110 drivers measure 8ohms see photographs. Needs some restoration on cabinets or simply play as they are. Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE A pair of Cambridge Audio R50 transmission line speakers using the classic drive unit lineup of KEF B139, B100 & T27 with Coles 4001 supertweeter. These are in original condition with almost unmarked cabinets, there is a small scratch in one side of one speaker and a small piece of veneer missing from one rear corner. Also the badge is missing from the front of one of the speakers. I have briefly tested them and confirmed all drive units are working. They were bought as a project for upgrading which has not yet been done and will come with a pair of Falcon Acoustics upgraded crossovers bought earlier this year at a cost of over £200. These use audio grade components and an updated circuit based on the acoustic Butterworth filter developed for the KEF 104ab. The new crossover also allows biwiring which would need additional connectors to be fitted to the speakers. My partner has a pair of similar HFA transmission line monitors with the same drive units and we can confirm the new crossovers will make a considerable improvement to the sound quality – in fact upgrading hers was the reason I went looking for these and I’m only selling them because I had an opportunity for a different upgrade which made these surplus. I don’t have boxes for these so collection only please, although I would consider delivering within a short drive from PL21, South Devon for £1 per mile.
