KEF CRESTA MK2 Im selling 1969 vintage KEF Cresta loudspeakersPrototype ls 3/5a -- Columns on the superb T27 and B110 drivers - the same as in the iconic ls 3/5a.The ls 3/5a used slightly smaller boxes and a more complex crossover.Columns in good technical condition, drivers without damage. The grilles are included (the frames need to be refurbished as they are fading and fine dust is falling off). Cases - condition as in the photos - no dings or losses.Exactly this model played a few years ago at the Audio Show Poland - Warsaw in the Sulek Audio room.I recommend - BBC sound for relatively little money!!!

I have on offer here a set of original KEFKits Instructions and Plans describing how to build their Concerto style speaker using the renowned T27, B110 and B139 drivers. Please note that there is no hardware included in this sale, it is just the original instructions, plans and product information as shown in the pictures.

This is an extremely rare pair of early production kef cresta loudspeakers, with very close serial numbers and build dates. These have had only one previous owner and came from a large estate. These are from the first year of production for the cresta and B110 mid bass driver that is later used in the infamous ls35a. I have never seen another pair like this, they are quite possibly one of the last pairs in existence. If you are interested in kef history, these are museum worthy and would be a fine addition to any collection. Condition : Amazing Condition for 55 years old and in full working order, they sound incredible. As expected for the age they are not mint but who can expect that from them. Please examine the photographs as regards to physical condition. Relisted due to time waster, please only offer or purchase if you have the intention of completing the transaction. The stands photographed are not included in this sale. These will be wrapped to a high standard to prevent any damage during shipping. For sale, a set of Kef speakers . KEF T27, B110, B139, DN12 Crossovers x2 I have carefully removed the speakers from my KEF Concerto cabinets. - the cabinets and front grilles have seen better days and I am gradually downsizing on all my quality Hi-Fi due to a house move, so i dont intend using these quality speakers in any project at the moment. The T27 tweeters and B110 mid/bass are ideal for a BBC LS3/5a project, and if i had the time , and not house moving, this would be my project for the speaker units, using a pair of cabinets from Falcon acoustics. These speaker units sound amazing !! and are the best speakers I have had over the many years I have been a Hi-Fi enthusiast. In use , I used them with my Quad 33 / 303 amplifier set up and they sound really nice. They have never been over driven. The connection terminals of the speakers and the 3 way crossover PCBs have been cleaned up ready for a new install. Will be sent extremely securely and well parcelled up using ParcelForce 48 , tracked and signed for. KEF KIT 3 ASSEMBLED BAFFLES On offer here a pair of the increasingly rare KEF Kit 3 Assembled Baffles. They enabled the purchaser to house KEFs most highly regarded units in a cabinet of their choice. They employ the KEF B139 ( SP1044 ) LF unit, B110 ( SP1003 ) MF unit, T27 ( SP1032 ) HF unit and the DN12 ( SP1004 ) Dividing Network/Crossover Unit. As can be seen from the pictures they remain totally unused, which is quite unique. They come with Acoustic Wadding and Grille Cloth and the contents of a sealed plastic bag consisting of a Terminal Panel and screws, together with fixing screws, Velcro Strips, KEFKIT Badge and Woodscrews for attaching the Baffle to a Cabinet. The self adhesive sealing strip disintegrated long ago, but a substitute is readily available. Some literature is present, although the Loudspeaker Enclosure Designs literature would appear to be for a smaller model ( something that was quite common with KEF equipment of this era ). I have therefore supplied some assembly information obtained off the internet, but please note that this is provided as a guide only as they can be used for whatever project/usage that the winning bidder sees fit. They come in their original boxes and packaging, although they will be double boxed to help ensure safe delivery, with insured trackable UK delivery being £49.95 This is a rare and quite possibly one off opportunity for someone to purchase these highly desirable units in this condition. 2 close matching Kef Caprice speakers, production date 12-01-1974, serial numbers 1548 and 1568.Drive units: B110 bass/mid unit ( SP1003 ) and T27 tweeter ( SP1032 ). These cabinets are quite unique - one of Chris Rogers early 1970s TL designs built with Kef drivers and coles supertweeter - Rogers designed other TL designs but then began using other driver units and thereafter did not focus on TLs due to high production costs. Had these running a few years ago and sounded amazing - however drivers were removed to refurbish a pair of Linn speakers - inherited from a family member who was a sound engineer. Fully intended to keep these to upgrade wiring etc but having to downsize property hence sale. Once fully complete and with a bit of TLC - the new owner will have a extremely rare pair of Rogers TLs and a super sounding pair of speakers!
