Both drivers are an excellent used condition pulled from a very rare pair of vintage monitor audio MA1 series 2 speakers. They both read 7.0 ohms on my multimeter. Please look over the pictures closely and consider them part of the description.

If you are an audiophile looking for the the most engaging, detailed, pure and smooth music you have ever heard, this pair of high end speakers may be the answer to your search. The midrange sounds are well defined and so are the highs. The tight and deep bass generated by two woofers in each cabinet is exceedingly delightful. However, one of the tweeters needs to be upgraded (the cabinet with the piece of tape on top) and the inner donuts/rings replaced in both. I am entertaining the idea of doing the necessary repairs and keep them but it is hard to allocate time to do so. Once repaired, you will want to keep these for as long as you live since very few speakers match their sound quality. Please note that they are very heavy. Otherwise, they are in great shape and you would feel proud to have them in your living room.

Very impressive sounding and looking vintage speakers. Foams have been replaced 2 years ago by previous owner. Only selling due to upgrade and lack of space. These are highly regarded even now and have a very powerful sound that is very balanced. There are the expected age marks for their age, as can be seen in the pics, but soundwise they sound brilliant. Original grills, but a bit discoloured.
