Damage does not affect the sound and can be placed to either the left inside corner or right outside corner to be out of sight. All damage/cosmetic defects include: (1) Damage to bottom rear corner of 1 speaker - shown in pictures (2) Small scratch below non-damaged speaker driver - shown in pictures (3) Tiny dent on the main driver of the non-damaged speaker - shown in pictures (4) Matte finish has a few blemishes but only can be seen in direct light Speakers are in overall good shape and sound just like new.
