This server will hold up to Kaleidescape data modules (hard drives) for a total capacity of up to 84 Tb of available space. The server is grandfathered, in good physical condition (see photos), however will not power up and is being sold as needing repair or for parts, and has been priced accordingly. I upgraded my system and need to sell this K Server 1500. It works great and has two 2TB drives and two 6TB drives.

We took all three of these pieces out of a yacht. It comes with four drives in the server. Neither the players or server fully work.

You are looking at a KVAULT-1500. It turns on and gets some type of network activity, but I cannot find it on the network. There are four drives, the first and fourth have blue lights, the second has an amber led and the third does not have any. The front cover only lights up when I put downward pressure on the right side of the face. Obviously it has its issues, but might be worthwhile for parts. It is un-registered if you are able to get it working.

You are looking at a used KSERVER-5000 with a bad motherboard. A few of the drives were recently replaced before the motherboard went out. The #12 drive was used as the hot spare, so may be able to be used in another system. The face is not lighting up because the contacts on the chasis are pushed in, but does light up when in contact with them. The unit is un-registered with KScape.

KSERVER-1500 (1U) Either for parts only (chassis, front bezel and rack ears) or because itGrandfathered to import DVDs if you purchase or plan to purchase the current Premiere 1U+ KSERVER-1550 (1U+) version that does NOT allow DVD import.
