JVC XL-Z1050 CD Player Super Digifine XL-Z1050TN For sale, we have a rare collectable JVC XL-Z1050TN CD Player for sale. This was JVCs TOTL CD player when it was released. It is of high build quality, and comes from the original owner, and included the remote and original owners manual. The player is in perfect working order, and both the left and right displays are bright and sharp. The XL-Z1050 has both fixed and variable outputs, so it can be used directly with an amp if desired. It also has optical and coaxial digital outputs as well. We found the players sound pleasing and warm. Its currently in our house system and will most likely remain there until it is sold. Physically the unit is in very good condition. The faceplate has some blemishes, the top has some nicks/scratches, the back panel is in very good condition, and the plugs are clean. On the front panel, the previous owner, while cleaning, rubbed some of the lettering off of some of the buttons. The affected ones are the Power,Play, and the Open/Close buttons. On the remote, the battery cover tab is a little worn, so a small piece of tape is needed to secure it. Otherwise the remote is in excellent condition. See pictures for further details. We dont have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
