The stereo cabinet is in good condition considering its age, small bump on the top of the metal cover, and a cheap one on the back of the wood cabinet, please check the pictures. The front aluminum face is in great condition, and all lights seem to work fine, you will need an external antenna to catch strong radio signal, the stereo sounds but the left channel work intermittently, sometimes the sound is very low or definitely not sound at all, I got this stereo from an old lady and smells like perfume, this stereo is for sale as is for parts or restoration, thank you. Vintage JVC AX-S331 Stereo Integrated Amplifier W/ Equalizer Tested & Working. All functions have been tested tested completely. All inputs and outputs sound fantastic. The phono was not tested with a turntable, but it does produce sound when tested with a tape deck. It was not a clean sound, but the phono mode is meant for a turntable. Buttons are all crisp. The slides, volume and balance are all smoothe. They could still possibly use some maintenance. There are some minor scuffs and scratches. Some dust may be present. Please see photos for details. Powers up Tuner works leds light up. Headphone socket works Bulbs appear to need replacing as they don’t light up No output to speakers from the rear connectors. A couple are a bit stiff Front is in great condition for its age. Some marks from age and use as expected. Nice project to get back fully operational It’s a heavy unit due to the bulky transformer hence postage cost (sorry)
