I have tested this turntable and it does work but has a couple flaws. The arm at start lifts but needs a little nudge to get the arm in motion. Once it starts moving it moves into position and plays fine. It does automatically retreat when finished playing or when stop is pressed. I did not have a phono pre amp so my sound was quiet. Pre amp or phono input needed. The up/down button seems to not fully work but it does raise. It may just need switch cleaning. Switches fine between 45 and 33. Overall solid unit. High tech electrical turntable. There is also a small nick in the rubber plate. Come with original box which is in rough condition. Will ship with care or local pickup. The manual is a printed copy.
