I have tested this turntable and it does work but has a couple flaws. The arm at start lifts but needs a little nudge to get the arm in motion. Once it starts moving it moves into position and plays fine. It does automatically retreat when finished playing or when stop is pressed. I did not have a phono pre amp so my sound was quiet. Pre amp or phono input needed. The up/down button seems to not fully work but it does raise. It may just need switch cleaning. Switches fine between 45 and 33. Overall solid unit. High tech electrical turntable. There is also a small nick in the rubber plate. Come with original box which is in rough condition. Will ship with care or local pickup. The manual is a printed copy. JVC/Victor QL-Y3F, full auto quartz locked direct drive turntable with repeat function, soft touch control buttons  Beautiful Rosewood JVC/Victor QL-Y3F. Working, but sometimes one needs to nudge headshell after you press start, to get it to move over to platter, think it’s just the tonearm band. Soft touch buttons don’t always work, this should be fixable with a good cleaning and deoxit or fader lube. Comes with dust cover in very good condition and 45 adapter and OG DTZ- 1S cartridge with new stylus. The QL-Y3F is a fine combination of traditional workmanship and high technology JVC/Victor features. Foremost of these features is the E-D servo system that controls horizontal arm movement. A coreless linear motor with a horizontal velocity detection system is used to combat resonance which can cause intermodulation distortion.
