Ok so I tested this turntable. I am no expert. But It does turn on just fine, and the arm works great. IMPORTANT notice about this auction. I will secure the arm, and the needle securely for shipping. As well it will have thick styrofoam board around the entire thing. I wisll package it as proffessionally as possible. Shipping will be the costs of the unit plus the insurance for whoever I ship with . and that will reflect in shipping costs. Details on the table itself. The table , powers up. it turns.. the needle works great.. and when the needle touches a record, you can hear the music coming through the needle.. I believe the needle is working. When the unit is hooked to our basic amp at home, it wouldnt come through the speakers. I believe a small capacitor/resistor inside has failed. and can be fixed easily by a technician. ... I myself could probably repair it, but i dont really feel like taking this thing apart and testing the board. it is most likely a resistor or simple thing on the inside of the unit that is preventing it from transmitting sound through the wires , as it should. So that is the deal with this player. it has potential ., it is really cool. And I actually hate to sell it. but I cant repair everything.
