For sale a Victor / JVC QL A70 quartz lock semi automatic direct drive turntable in very good condition. Turntable works properly, tonearm cueing mechanism works fine without dropping and tonearm lifts up at end of record. Turntable comes with working cartridge and ready to play your records. DESCRIPTION: The turntable has a diameter of 35 cm, a weight of 2.9 kg (including mat) and an inertial mass of 560kg-cm.2 In addition, a newly developed Quartz Lock DD motor with magnetic support system is used to drive the large aluminum die-cast turntable. In the magnetic support system, the load on the motors rotating shaft is reduced to about 500g by the attraction force of the magnet. This eliminates the cause of S/N deterioration and wow flutter caused by friction in the bearings, and achieves quiet rotation. The servo circuit uses a double-servo quartz circuit with 30 times higher quartz lock stability than conventional ones. S-shaped universal type is used for the tone arm. The combination of Victors original high sensitivity and high stability new gimbal support system bearing and long size arm with effective length of 254 mm provides smooth trace performance with little distortion and needle skipping. In addition, anti-vibration material is enclosed in the S-shaped pipe, and a large aluminum die-cast base is used for the arm base to eliminate resonance and vibration. Equipped with a purely electronic silent servo queuing function. This function is an application of electronic servo to the tone arm Up down, and by controlling the rotation of a linear motor, smooth upper limit motion and long-term high reliability are obtained. The cabinet has high-density specifications taking advantage of Victors woodworking technology. The surface is finished with a rose-like mirror finish. It uses an auto lift-up mechanism of non-contact speed detection method to prevent the needle tip and record from hurting. The dust cover can be attached and removed freely. In addition, it uses a free hinge with a special structure that can be stopped near the closed position.
