JVC PC-W150 service manual. This is an original factory released manual, not a copy. In good condition. JVC PC-W150 Vintage 1980s/90s Stereo Boombox Bluetooth, FM/MW/LW, Cassette Tape. This vintage twin cassette/FM stereo radio player is in almost good working order. I have played the radio on it for an hour or so, with no hindrance or interference. Both cassettes playback is in good sounding condition. I have not tested the record functionality. And sadly both the rewind and fast forward buttons on both cassettes are bouncing back up after being depressed as you can see in the video. I will assume that the belts on this part of the player need to be replaced. An overall service might be a good idea  Sadly, I do not have the instruction booklet  Please study the photographs for the overall cosmetic condition   This would make a good film or theatre pop for production sets in the late 1980s early 1990s.  I have not tested this item on battery power. JVC PC-W150 Vintage 1980s/90s Stereo Boombox Used condition with marks and scratches. See photos. As usual for these it has been used while decorating at some point and has some paint marks as well! I have just given it a quick wipe, with a good clean you could probably get it looking a bit better. I have had this for a few years, and added the bluetooth feature about a year ago. I have been using it as a bluetooth speaker since then with no issues. It has a bluetooth 5.0 audio chip installed connected internally to the line (CD) input. You can connect your phone and stream music over bluetooth. It works great and the module is powered from the boombox itself, no need for separate wires, charging or power. The module also disconnects your phone automatically when you turn the power off on the boombox power switch on the front, and with most phones will reconnect when you power it back up. Just like a modern bluetooth speaker, basically. It plays in stereo (all inputs including bluetooth) and has working graphic equaliser on the front if you wish to adjust the sound. Speakers can be unclipped and detached if you wanted to place them further apart or use different ones. The sound overall is good, it wont blow you away but its relatively loud, clear and has some bass. A little better than a cheap 90s radio/tape player but not as good as a decent Hi-Fi system. Tape decks are working fine. I have done basic maintenance including replacing the belts and cleaned tape heads, rollers etc when I got it. Havent tested the recording or dubbing functions. FM radio is also working well, although the telescopic aerial is partially snapped off. I believe replacements are readily available if desired. It does seem to receive fine anyway. LW is also working and picks up a good signal on Radio 4 long wave. I could not receive many stations on MW and SW when testing today so not sure if those are not working or if its just a signal issue. The boombox runs off 240V AC mains with a standard figure of 8 cable (included) or you can run it off 8x D-cell batteries. It could also be run off a 12V car battery by connecting clip leads to the battery terminals, though if you do this you must NOT have the engine running or a battery charger connected as the voltage will then be too high. Listed for sale as I have far too many boomboxes and need to have a clear out. I will post (free P&P included), or you can pay cash and collect from Dorking, Surrey. An early 1990s Boombox / Ghetto Blaster by JVC with twin tape decks, normal and hi-speed dubbing, AUX IN, four band radio, five band graphic equaliser, detachable speakers and headphone socket. Can be powered either by AC lead (supplied) or batteries (not supplied). it sounds great, particularly good bass, and especially with the speakers separated from the unit. Ive been using it via Bluetooth into the AUX IN / CD LINE IN and this thing pumps out a great sound. Plenty of oomph to it, to say the least! Please read the condition notes and review the photos. Please note in particular the issues with the tape decks. Postage in the UK only via UPS. Collection is also possible from the Nottighamshire/Derbyshire border (NG10) about 5 minutes from Junction 25 of the M1. You are more than welcome to come and hear it ;)
