VIDEO DEMO HERE: https://youtu.be/osD-zGgkXl8 This is the highest level preamplifier ever made by Victor/JVC in the analog era of 80s with a price of 250.000 yen in 1981.And i can say that the sound i very detailed and high end like, with more space and density when comparing to a high end integrated amp.I have listened in pair with the M-L10 power amplifier and i can say it is just gorgeous but it also sounds very good when paired with an Accuphase power or with a Sansui Alpha-907XR on the power amp input section. I have tested all inputs and outputs including the Phono Inputs (MM and MC). There is only a lamp burnt (Tone on/off) that needs to be replaced.The phono stage of this amp is the most elaborate of the time, you have adjustable cartridge load, level of MC input, capacitance and impedance and it sounds completely different (in the good sense) of what you would expect from a phono stage.Your vinyls will sound more holographic, more involving, more true to scene. Regarding the aesthetics, as long as its a wooden enclosure, it can be repaired, polished and lacquered to bring it back to the beauty appearance as new. The front fascia looks good, but there are also some oxidation spots also on the volume and other places that on simple cleaning didnt disappeared. Its to be understandable after +40 years.
