For almost 11 years, this projector has worked for me without problems, only about 300 hours on the first original lamp.4 months ago, main power supply failed and did not turn on at all. Problems with the power supply were solved, but it turned out that the problem was still lamp ballast.This time projector turns on standby mode , the LED on the front panel lights up green,but when turn on the remote control, it starts flashing red standby and warning led indicator.It took a lot of time and money to restore the power supply, and I bought another Epson LS12000 laser projector to replace this one JVC dla x55r.I sell it as it is, maybe to someone for spare parts or restoration.A new one was bought and showed up to 5k of the price category - excellent. The JVC DLA-X550RBU projector is a high-quality home theater projector known for its 4K e-shift technology, providing excellent image quality with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 w/ 4k e-shift technology. BTW- This is the exact same unit as the RS-400U. One was sold only to custom installers for some reason. The lamp (OEM Ushio bulb) has just over 700 hours and Ill include a brand new OEM Ushio bare bulb as a spare as well. FYI- This was JVCs 1st attempt at HDR and needs custom gamma curves for that to work properly. I used it only feeding SDR 4k content and its stunning on my 120 inch screen. Please take the time to go to AVS Forum as there are workarounds for the known HDR gamma D issue.
