I purchased this projector new on June 4, 2022, for $12,000 ($15,000 retail ) from Magnolia in Frisco, Tx. As a long time customer I received a VIP discount as noted on original receipt. I was not going to put a projector/screen in my new home as I did not have a dedicated room. However a Stewart Gemini Dual Screen (133/110) from a local demo room dropped into my lap for a fraction of its $17,000 original price so I decided to go all in. I had a custom soffit built to house the screen and bought three B&W CT7.3s for LCR to be installed in a custom cabinet under the screen I was going to have built. I bought two CWM 7.2 S2s for the rear wall and two CCM 683s for the ceiling. I bought all seven of these speakers at the same time off ebay, they were lightly used and all in excellent condition from a custom install. I was going to purchase a REL Subwoofer and was undecided on front end electronics. I had just moved to Texas from California to purchase a house and start a new job. After purchasing all of the above, there were aspects of my job and the specific area I purchased my home in that just didnt seem like a good fit. Meanwhile as weeks turned into months, the projector never left Magnolia as the manager had kindly put it in his office until I was ready to complete the project. The speakers sat in a spare bedroom untouched during this time. Fast forward two years and I decided to sell my house and move back to San Diego. The screen stayed in the house and everything else I took with me. So long story longer this item is listed as used, however the box has never been opened, and it stayed at Magnolia until I picked it up on May 4, 2024 as noted on second receipt shown. Due to it never being opened/staying at Magnolia Store, it is under full/as new warranty for new buyer and just needs a firmware update. I am very picky about image quality and admit to being a Sony guy most of the time. However this projector blew me a way when I saw it, and if you are reading this you have seen all the reviews and done your homework. The accolades are well deserved IMO. Buyer pays shipping costs. Pilot Freight Shipping is my preferred method to ship large/heavy items like this as its door to door delivery and very reasonably priced and have never had an issue. This is the best projector I have ever owned and I have owned every major brand over the last 20 years. It is calibrated to go with my 1.3 gain Cinema White screen in a dark room which is also for sale. If you are looking at this ad, you probably know about this projector. Check out the many reviews and JVCs web site if you need more info. I am happy to answer questions. The projector is one year old. It has just shy of 1300 hours on it. The laser is said to last 20,000, so it has plenty of life left and two years left on the three year warranty.
