This unit powers in no issues, all buttons function as should, sound tray comes out no issue, Only problem I’m having is when playing the cassette it keeps catching the tape and pulling it out. I have put a tape in and plugged in headphones and could hear the music. I used the fast forward and rewind. Both worked and did not eat the tape. When I opened the tape door. It is very, very slow. I'm sure this could use a good cleaning. Overall, I am listing this as not working for parts and / or repair. Comes with a Randy Travis cassette tape.

This cassette deck is in nice shape cosmetically, with only some light scratches on the top & edges. The face of the deck is clean, the lenses are clear. Display looks very nice. All buttons seem to function as they should. The power slide out tray functions well, and all buttons on the tray seem to function properly.The record function does work, I have tested with a CD input and it recorded nicely. ***** The cassette deck plays in the reverse direction, however it is having an issue playing in the forward direction, see video for an example of this issue. JVC DD-VR9 3 Head Auto Reverse Cassette deck Some small marks on top but front is very good just noticed a very light scratch on left hand side looks a lot worse on the pictures that it isAuto Reverse takes 0.4 seconds records and plays in Auto Reverse very rare especially in the uk 240 volt but has variable voltage selector on backit is from around 1986 it hasnt had a lot of use been in a cabinet for years inside the tape compartment is mint I sent to off to get a service to a shop in Manchester who are a jvc specialists they have a jvc museum when I put it on sometime it would chew a tape they fixed it cleaned it and set the calibration said how great it sounded i would prefer pick up but can post i have a good box and packaging for it
