When the PLAY button is pressed the RECORD indicator light comes on (as If its in recording mode) regardless of If the record button is pressed or not. The take up reels spin when play/ff/rew is selected. The EJECT button has no effect and does not open the mechanism (possibly caused by the unit thinking its in recording mode and needs to be stopped first?). A Vintage / Original JVC Model KD-D2 Tape Player STEREO CASSETTE DECK w/ Dolby / ANRS / Metaperm - Not Fully Tested. As found recently, I brought it home & it powered right up. All of the basic functions seem to be working correctly & I played a couple of tapes. Sound quality through my lo-fi headphones was not great. Since this was the extent of my testing, I am selling it as you see it & NOT FULLY TESTED. Please ask any questions prior to placing a bid and/or auctions close. Visually it appears to be in nice original NOT FULLY TESTED condition showing light to moderate overall wear (see pics). Shipping is based on 12 lbs safely packed from 17043.
