JVC compact component system CA-S60RBK. For sale! My lovely classic vintage JVC compact music system. Top of the range in its time and outstanding performance still. Featuring 35 watts per channel output and plenty loud enough to full a room. This stereo features motorised mid range units that provide panoramic surround sound. There are so many tone settings - more than enough to please everyone. I had hoped to load a video of the motorised speakers in operation but I haven’t yet worked out if it is possible or not. It comprises two main units plus bass reflex three driver unit speakers. One main unit is the tuner amplifier and the other is the CD double cassette player which are linked by special interconnecting cables. The speakers also have special interconnecting cables for the panoramic and surround sound operations but will also work with standard speaker cables but those motorised sound speaker functions will not operate. There are numerous combinations of layout that can be achieved with the units and speakers. Comes complete with a remote control and instruction manual. The stereo features an auxiliary input that can be used to connect other devices and was used to connect a turntable. If you plan to connect a magnetic cartridge fitted turntable then it will require a suitable pre-amplifier but ceramic cartridges generally operate fine. The speakers suffered water damage due to a minor leak that wasn’t spotted in time and the Matt black plastic foil has lifted in places - this has been repaired but remains an area that is less than perfect unfortunately, otherwise the stereo is in excellent condition and the slight damage doesn’t impede the operation in any way. One speaker cable is cut shorter than the other but it is a standard cable and easily replaced. This lovely stereo system is COLLECTION ONLY from my home in Croydon, it is large heavy and bulky and I am not willing to risk sending it by post or organise it to be wrapped up safely to be collected by a courier. You are welcome to arrange for it to be collected but it will be unpackaged and entirely at your own risk. Of course I am happy to do my best to respond positively to any reasonable request but essentially these are my conditions. Stereo will come as pictured complete with all parts included including user booklet and remote. Stack includes the compact disc player, double cassette deck and 2 speakers HiFi system is in good condition. Tested prior to listing. Everthing is as pictured, but please note this is a retro hi-fi and isnt a brand new system. It may show signs of age related wear and tear but nothing major.
